Coast & Country's first tenant resource centre

Establishing Coast & Country’s first tenant resource centre took a big step forward with members of the Tenant Executive Panel visiting other tenant resource centres to gain some valuable knowledge on what sort of facilities were provided by other housing organisations.

They visited resource centres provided by Erimus and Housing Hartlepool and were pleasantly surprised by what they saw.

Kim Gallagher, chair of the TEP said,  “There is everything from tenant training to learning life skills for young and future tenants. The training that tenants receive help them towards gaining qualifications and employment.  It would be really useful for us to have a similar facility at Coast & Country.
